Equipped with a Cursor 360-horsepower engine, Fast 12-speed gearbox, 4×4 drive, and front and rear hub-reduction axles — what kind of vehicle deserves such a configuration?
Although it features a flat-roof cab, the high bumper design and tall body give this GENHOO H6 fire truck an actual height of over 3 meters.
The latest front fascia design from the GENHOO family has already appeared on this H6 model. The “HY” logo even features an illuminated design.
In terms of headlamp configuration, the GENHOO H6 features a new headlight assembly. The LED light strip integrates both daytime running lights and turn signal functions. The low beam is equipped with a projector lens, while the upper part includes the high beam and an additional high beam booster, which should offer excellent nighttime illumination.
This is a high-spec model with a 4-camera surround view system. Cameras are installed in the front grille and under the side mirrors, helping the driver monitor the surroundings when navigating narrow roads.
The Cursor 9L engine already meets EURO VI emission standards. We’ll discuss the performance of this engine later.
The rear tail lights adopt a full LED lighting unit — keeping up with the times and worthy of praise.
Likewise, the rear camera is also essential for a 360-degree view. One is installed on the rear frame, allowing drivers to better observe rear blind spots while reversing.
Beneath the towering cab, the GENHOO H6’s massive “mahjong tile” tires continuously emphasize its powerful off-road capability. According to the manufacturer, this GENHOO H6 has an approach angle of 30 degrees and can climb slopes up to 37%.
In terms of powertrain, the fire truck is equipped with a Cursor 9L 360 hp engine, delivering a maximum torque of 2,000 Nm. Impressively, 90% of its torque is available as early as 1,000 rpm. Data shows that the GENHOO H6 can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 25 seconds — excellent performance. It is paired with a 12-speed manual transmission from Fast.
At the EURO VI emissions stage, aftertreatment systems tend to be large, and the GENHOO H6 is no exception. However, to ensure good ground clearance, its aftertreatment system is designed with a narrow bottom and wider top to reduce the risk of underbody contact.
Besides offering dual-stage reduction, the hub-reduction axles also help increase the vehicle’s ground clearance and enhance passability. In the image, you can also see that the GENHOO H6 is equipped with an anti-roll bar, disc brakes, and 3-leaf parabolic springs.
After the power passes through the transmission, it goes into a transfer case, which then distributes torque to the front and rear axles.
The rear axle also comes with an anti-roll bar and is paired with 4-leaf parabolic springs.
As for the interior, the GENHOO H6 fire truck doesn’t disappoint. It features a passenger car-style design, a clean interface, a digital instrument cluster, and a large infotainment screen — shedding the traditional heavy-duty truck look in favor of a modern and refined feel.
