The Dongfeng Double Cab EURO VI 4×2 small water tanker fire truck has an overall length of 5.75 meters, a width of 1.75 meters, and a height of 2.55 meters. Its compact size allows for quick deployment and timely arrival at emergency sites. The fire-engine red exterior is highly visible, serving as a reminder for pedestrians and vehicles to yield.
The fire truck features a double-row cab, which can accommodate 2+3 passengers. It offers comfortable seating and high practicality. The double-row cab design is also a mainstream configuration for domestic fire trucks.
In terms of power, the fire truck is equipped with a Quanchai 95-horsepower diesel engine that meets EURO VI emission standards. It delivers a maximum output of 70 kW and has a displacement of 2.3 liters. It comes with 185R15LT tires, with a standard tire pressure of 450 kPa.
The black fuel tank is located on the lower side between the cab and the rear compartment. The fuel tank has a locking cap structure for enhanced safety.
The upper compartment is made of high-quality carbon steel, and the water tank is built into the structure. The tank dimensions are 590 x 1,580 x 1,090 mm, with a total volume of 0.975 cubic meters. There are 5 aluminum alloy roller shutter doors around the compartment—toolboxes on both sides and a pump compartment at the rear.
A fire water cannon is mounted on top of the compartment. Firefighters can access it via a safety ladder at the rear. The water cannon can rotate 360 degrees and has a wide spray range. It can operate in both jet and spray modes to meet different firefighting needs.
A residual water drain valve is installed below the compartment. When the fire truck is not in operation, any remaining water in the tank can be fully drained through this valve. This is especially important in winter to ensure that no residual water remains in the tank or pump, thus preventing damage.
