Magirus has launched the CNG-powered pumper fire truck HLF10.
Thanks to Iveco’s expertise in natural gas fuel, the world’s first rescue fire truck, the HLF10, adopts the Iveco Eurocargo natural gas engine chassis.

This pumper fire truck is equipped with a 420-liter compressed natural gas (CNG) tank and an Allison fully automatic transmission. It has a driving range of up to 300 kilometers, can perform pump operations for up to 4 hours, and makes no compromises in terms of loading capacity.

Magirus has applied alternative fuel technology to special-purpose vehicles, and the first batch of HLF10 pumper fire trucks powered by natural gas has already been delivered to fire departments. When summarizing the new Innovative Drive Line (iDL) series, Magirus CEO Marc Diening stated that “With iDL, Magirus brings a range of technologies and tactics that are extremely useful.”

Safety must always come first. Magirus has conducted extensive testing and certification to ensure the safety of the natural gas system. Moreover, the use of CNG extends beyond vehicle propulsion; it is also utilized for interior applications, such as the auxiliary heater in the crew cabin.
