This vehicle features a J6P full-floating, flat-roof, double-row cab. The 4-point suspension cab effectively reduces vibrations, providing firefighters with a comfortable environment and reducing their work fatigue. In terms of appearance, it continues the family-style front-end design of the J6 series, with the signature FAW eagle-eye logo at the center remaining highly distinctive.

Viewed from the side, this tank fire truck adopts a 4-door design, with multi-step boarding pedals under each door. A yellow grab handle on the side of the rear door further facilitates access to the cab for firefighters. The large half-cab design offers a more spacious cabin, allowing multiple firefighters to be dispatched simultaneously.

The fire truck uses an 8×4 drive configuration, and the body is built by CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck. It is equipped with essential fire truck features such as warning lights, equipment toolboxes, and side shutters that can be opened. As a foam fire truck, it is equipped with a CB10/100-TB fire pump and a PL80 water cannon. The water tank has a capacity of 16.7 tons, and the foam tank holds 4 tons, giving it decent firefighting capability.

In terms of power, it is equipped with an Xichai CA6DM2-42E4 engine, with an 11-liter displacement and a maximum output of 420 horsepower. It meets Euro IV emission standards through a Bosch common rail system and SCR technology. The truck is also fitted with a PTO (power take-off) unit, controlled by a starter solenoid valve for easy operation. The 420-horsepower engine is more than sufficient for a foam fire truck.
