As a primary firefighting unit, the water tank fire truck is characterized by high power, high speed, and large water capacity. It features an extended cab for enhanced comfort, centralized controls, and ease of maintenance. The engine emission meets the requirements of GB17691-2005 Stage IV. Both the fire pump and monitor are tested by the National Fire Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The crew cab is modified into a double-row configuration, with front and rear seats accommodating up to 6 personnel (including the driver). A dedicated control panel and emergency light control box are mounted on the original dashboard. The rear seat backs are equipped with 4 fixed SCBA holders. The cab is tiltable for convenient engine maintenance. The vehicle uses a full-power sandwich-type PTO system, enabling simultaneous driving and water pumping.

The main frame uses Q235 high-quality perforated steel in a fully welded structure. Exterior panels are made from welded carbon steel or smooth aluminum bonded with high-strength adhesive.

The pump compartment is located at the rear, with aluminum alloy roller shutters on both sides and the back, all equipped with interior lighting. Non-slip footboards are installed on both sides. Compartments beside the footboards can hold commonly used tools. A rear ladder provides access to the roof.

The equipment cabinet is located behind the crew cab, also with aluminum alloy roller shutters on both sides, interior lighting, and non-slip footboards. Pull-out trays and storage boxes are integrated within the perforated steel structure for flexible tool arrangement. Ample space is reserved for custom equipment placement.

The roof is walkable and features anti-slip treatment. Thermal insulation is achieved via an independent diesel heater (optional based on customer needs).

The 8-ton water tank is made of carbon steel treated with a complete phosphating process. The design thickness is 4:4:3 mm (bottom: side: baffle). The tank is rigidly mounted to the chassis frame.
