The Dongfeng K7 Double-Row EURO VI 5 Ton water tanker fire truck has an overall length of 6.94 meters, a width of 2.195 meters, and a height of 3.06 meters. This compact size places it among the more nimble yellow-plate trucks. The fire-engine red paint makes the fire truck highly visible at all times.
The front face of the K7 adopts a brand-new design with a modern style. Notably, the chrome trim strip running across the grille gives it a high-quality appearance.

It comes standard with 245/70R19.5 vacuum tires, manufactured by Fengshen Tire Company, a well-known domestic brand. These tires are strong in load-bearing capacity and puncture resistance. Fengshen is currently focusing on quickly absorbing Pirelli‘s technology to accelerate its transfer and improve tire performance and quality.
From the side view, the body adopts an internal tank layout. Tool compartments are located on both sides, with the water tank in the center and the pump compartment at the rear. The water tank is made of high-quality 3mm-thick carbon steel, with a liquid capacity of 5,000 kg, or 5 cubic meters.
The tool compartments are equipped with aluminum alloy rolling shutters. Inside are lighting fixtures, as well as multiple storage boxes and equipment brackets arranged according to operational needs. The fixed placement allows for quick access during firefighting, preventing delays in critical moments.
As the most crucial component of a fire truck, the fire pump is housed in the rear pump compartment. This pump is a low-pressure centrifugal type, with a rated flow rate of 30 L/s and a maximum suction depth of 7 meters. The priming system uses a piston-type vacuum pump, capable of reaching full suction within 50 seconds. Since the fire pump directly affects firefighting efficiency, it must be properly maintained when not in use to prevent rust or other damage.
Mounted above the pump is an operation panel, which includes control buttons, operation instructions, and various gauges. Operations should follow the specified steps to prevent accidental damage to the pump that could hinder firefighting efforts.
Next to the pump compartment is a safety ladder that helps firefighters climb to the top of the truck body to operate the fire monitor and aim it at the fire source. The ladder has a foldable design, made of high-quality steel, offering both strong load capacity and safety.
The Dongfeng K7 Double-Row EURO VI 5 Ton water tanker fire truck is also equipped with multiple warning light systems, including a long-row lightbar on the front of the cab, circular warning lights at the rear of the body, and strobe lights on both sides—fully compliant with standards for special-purpose vehicles.
