Doha, Qatar – October 14th, 2025 – In a significant enhancement to aviation safety, Qatar has officially deployed a state-of-the-art Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) truck at Hamad International Airport. Manufactured by CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck, a leading Chinese producer of specialized emergency vehicles, this advanced ARFF truck is designed to meet stringent International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, ensuring rapid and effective response to airside emergencies.

The newly delivered ARFF truck boasts impressive specifications, including a 6×6 all-terrain drive system, a robust 500 kW electric motor, and an 11,000-liter water tank coupled with a 1,000-liter foam tank. Its fire pump delivers a flow rate of 100 liters per second at 10 bar, while the fire monitor offers a flow rate of 80 liters per second at 10 bar, with shooting ranges of over 75 meters for water and 70 meters for foam. These features ensure the vehicle’s capability to handle large-scale aircraft emergencies swiftly and efficiently.
