BRIEF
The SHACMAN emergency boat carrier 8t crane truck is a specialized logistics unit designed to meet rapid deployment and transport requirements in emergency response operations. It is modified from a SHACMAN Delong Class II chassis and further enhanced with a custom-built cargo compartment, a knuckle-boom truck-mounted crane, and other dedicated support equipment. These modifications allow the SHACMAN emergency boat carrier 8t crane truck to handle both transport and lifting tasks efficiently, ensuring versatility in the field.
The cargo compartment measures 8.4 meters in length and features side and rear panels with a height of 600 mm. Each panel can be flipped up or down by 180 degrees and locked securely when raised upright. This design provides both flexibility and safety during loading and unloading operations. The structure is detachable, allowing adaptation for different mission needs. Inside the compartment, quick-install and detachable racks are provided to carry up to 4 assault boats. Each rack is fitted with lifting rings, while lashing rings on the floor allow them to be firmly secured. At the front end of the compartment, a detachable suspension bracket is installed to hold up to 4 outboard motors, mounted evenly on both sides.
For lifting operations, the rescue fire truck is equipped with an XCMG 8-ton straight-boom crane, offering a maximum working radius of 12 meters. This enables it to carry out boat deployment, equipment handling, and other hoisting tasks with ease. The truck’s overall dimensions are 11,960 mm in length, with a front overhang of 1,515 mm, a wheelbase of 5,800 + 1,350 mm, and a rear overhang of 3,295 mm. A speed limiter is installed, restricting the maximum driving speed to 80 km/h for safety.
Additional options include different cab designs depending on the chassis, an ETC onboard unit, a satellite-positioning tachograph, and an optional wrecker-style flatbed hydraulic structure for the cargo compartment.
