In a significant modernization effort, Austria has received a cutting-edge Air/Light Support Fire Truck from CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck, tailored to bolster its nighttime rescue capabilities. The handover took place on August 30, 2025, at the CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck facility in Hubei Province, China, marking a key milestone in international collaboration and emergency response enhancement.

Built on a nimble, high-mobility chassis to support Austria’s varied terrain—including the Alps and dense urban centers—the vehicle is outfitted with high-intensity LED floodlights and an extendable light tower. The powerful illumination system ensures clear visibility in low-light conditions, essential during mountain rescues, road accidents, or industrial emergencies.

In addition to lighting, the truck is equipped with on-board air supply features—specifically, integrated compressors and SCBA refill stations—to replenish breathing apparatus cylinders on-site. This dual functionality enables rescue teams to operate more effectively, longer, and more safely during prolonged night missions. The support extends further with portable rehabilitation facilities, communications integration, and compact tool storage to aid faster deployment and sustained operations.

CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck’s engineering team reportedly collaborated closely with Austria’s national fire and rescue services to ensure compliance with local operational standards and geographic demands. A spokesperson from CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck commented: “We’re honored to contribute to Austria’s public safety infrastructure—this Air/Light Support Fire Truck will significantly enhance nighttime rescue efficiency and safety.”

The vehicle is scheduled for immediate deployment across strategic regional rescue units, including Alpine brigades and urban fire stations, with initial operations to commence in December 2025. This acquisition underscores Austria’s commitment to modern, resilient emergency services and reflects CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck’s expanding presence in the European market.
