MAN 8x4 20-ton Foam Fire Truck, Specially Designed for Chemical Fire Prevention!

This MAN 8×4 20-ton foam fire truck is built on a special firefighting chassis from MAN, Germany. It features a single cab (half cab), and unlike a double-cab fire truck, it can accommodate only 2 occupants. From the side, the large compartment behind the cab forms the vehicle’s superstructure, which uses an exposed-tank design. The front section of the compartment serves as a tool storage box, the middle houses the foam and water tanks, and the rear section contains the pump room. Both the water and foam tanks are made of 304 stainless steel, with the interior coated in epoxy primer and epoxy asphalt paint, providing excellent sealing, corrosion resistance, and rust protection. The liquid tanks are elastically connected to the chassis, with a water capacity of 12,000 kg and foam solution capacity of 8,000 kg.

The tanker fire truck is also equipped with a compressed air foam system (CAFS) produced by a renowned German manufacturer for fire trucks. The system has a rated airflow of 160 L/s and can simultaneously support 8 CAFS nozzles, each delivering 750 L/min, demonstrating its impressive firefighting capability. The system is easy to operate, maintenance-free, and delivers CAFS at the press of a button, with no need to clean the foam pump after use.

The MAN 8×4 20-ton foam fire truck can lay out 380 meters of hose along a fire building staircase and support two 750 L/min nozzles using CAFS simultaneously in firefighting operations, with an end nozzle pressure of 6 bar.
