November 28th, 2025 – Hanoi, Vietnam – The Ministry of Emergency Response and Rescue today formally received a state-of-the-art Emergency Catering Support Vehicle, manufactured by CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck, to bolster its capabilities in managing disaster relief and humanitarian missions.
In a ceremony held at a warehouse near Noi Bai International Airport, Deputy Minister of Emergency Relief, Nguyen Thanh Long, lauded the delivery, stating: “This specialized catering vehicle marks a significant advance in our readiness to provide on-site nutrition to affected populations in remote or disaster-stricken areas.”
The new unit—built on a robust SITRAK chassis by CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck—comes fully outfitted for large-scale meal preparation. It includes insulated compartments, integrated cooking equipment, water storage systems, electrical and fuel subsystems, and even a dedicated dining area for relief teams. It also features a high-capacity rice-steaming cabinet capable of producing 80 kg of rice per hour across 16 trays, and ten multi-hole trays that can create up to 400 buns per cycle. In just one hour, the vehicle can feed up to 400 individuals, making it an essential asset for large-scale rapid deployment situations (Fire Rescue Truck).

The head of CSCTRUCK Fire Rescue Truck’s international sales division, Tony Wong, noted that the company is committed to delivering practical, secure, and modular emergency logistics solutions. Wong added, “Vietnam has taken a commendable step towards enhancing its disaster-relief infrastructure. This Emergency Catering Support Vehicle ensures that, when crises hit, no one goes hungry.”
Vietnam plans to deploy the vehicle across vulnerable regions prone to flooding and landslides in the Central Highlands and Mekong Delta—areas where road access can be disrupted and field kitchens are critical to relief operations.
As climate-related disasters intensify, the addition of this mobile catering unit demonstrates Vietnam’s proactive strategy to strengthen humanitarian response and ensure efficient, nutritive support reaches those in need swiftly and effectively.
